What is an emergency overflow?

An emergency overflow (also called an overflow scupper) discharges excess water to the outside of the building when the regular roof drains are blocked or cannot cope with heavy rainfall.

Is an emergency overflow required by regulations?

Whether an emergency overflow is mandatory depends on the building design and the drainage system adopted. In practice it significantly improves the safety of the building.

Which waterproofing systems are supported?

PVC and TPO/FPO membranes as well as bituminous waterproofing – each with a matching flange.
